The International School of Tourism was held in the auditorium of the Anáhuac Cancun University the First Chair, entitled "Systematized Mobility: Grupo del Valle," given by Ing. Antonio del Valle, who is currently CEO of Grupo del Valle, a transportation company with a solid track record nationwide.

Grupo del Valle has become a key player in the tourist development of the Mexican Caribbean, where it arrived nine years ago. It is originally from the state of Hidalgo. Currently, the company is in several cities, such as Mexico City, Puerto Vallarta, Guadalajara, Monterrey, Mérida, Cancun and Riviera Maya. Quintana Roo has the largest domain and presence, with approximately 640 units in the state market. Cancun alone covers 70% of its total operation".

García, President of Skäl Mexico; Mr. Abraham Mendoza Martinez, Director of the International Faculty of Tourism and Director of the Division of Tourism, Hotel Management, and Gastronomy; and Mr. Edwin Zapata Canto, Coordinator of the Bachelor's Degree in International Tourism, attended the event.

  1. Jesus Quirce Andrés L.C. welcomed everyone highlighting the growth of the school enrollment and thanked the presence of CEO Antonio del Valle. A leader who always showed social commitment to Cancun and the State community. He also asked the young people to emulate the example of work based on values, especially family values, along with his outstanding leadership and vision. Mr. Del Valle has always succeeded in transcending and positively impacting society.

  1. Abraham Mendoza was in charge of introducing the speaker, highlighting that Mr. Del Valle began his career in 1989 in Dina and worked in the commercial management of Irizar, Mexico. At the same time, he founded Transportes Ejecutivos Del Valle in Hidalgo.

During his talk, Mr. Del Valle shared details about the company he leads and his group's expansion; for example, in 2014, he founded Mexico Discovery. In 2017 he bought the company Blue Line in Cancun, Quintana Roo, and by 2020 he started with Pacifico Discovery in Guadalajara, Jalisco. That same year the Vallarta branch began operations.

Mr. Del Valle advised the students to be passionate about what they do. Then, he gave them a quick recipe for success: "Do what you love with passion, and then you will never work." He reminded them there will always be challenging moments, but never let them fall.

Before concluding and in the same framework of this event, that demonstrates the Anáhuac Cancun University's interest in bringing the most experienced leaders in the tourism industry to its International Campus and contributing to a complete formation of students, P. Jesus Quirce Andres L.C., signed a collaboration agreement with Skäl Mexico, currently chaired by Ph.D. Jane Garcia. The collaboration agreement will give Tourism, Hotel Management, and Gastronomy students a high-level and international space to do their internships. Furthermore, it generates links with tourism leaders. Finally, it provides scholarship opportunities for children and employees of the tourism sector with a presence in 23 tourist destinations to study at the Anáhuac Cancun University.
