It is a measurement system used by the University to determine the amount of your tuition fees.
Each subject has a number of "credits" ranging from 3 to 9 credits per subject. You can find this information in your study plan.
The tuition calculator will find the total number of credits for your first semester, considering the ideal study plan.

Multiply the cost of each credit by the total credits per semester.

Divide the previous result between the 5 tuitions of the semester.
(Cost per Credit x Total number of credits per semester) / 5 = Tuition fee
University Cashier: For your safety and the entire university community, payments can only be made at the campus cashier using Visa, MasterCard, and American Express, credit and/or debit cards.
Online Payment with Credit Card: In the SIU System, you can conveniently make payments using your credit card. We accept all major credit cards with no payment fees, such as Visa, MasterCard, and American Express.
Pay online with PayPal: In the SIU System, you can conveniently make payments using your verified PayPal account. We accept all major credit cards, including Visa, MasterCard, and American Express.
Bank reference: By printing the referenced form from the SIU system, you can make cash payments at any Scotiabank, Banamex, and Santander branches.
Medicine Propedeutics: An essential and exclusive course for aspiring students interested in entering the School of Medicine. One-time payment: $8,100 MXN
Digital Skills Course: This course will enable students to demonstrate the digital skills required for their graduation. One-time payment: $2,500 MXN.
Remedial subjects: Depending on the results of your admissions process, the Admissions Department may inform you that you will need to study one or more remedial subjects during your first year.

Each remedial subject will be taken into account when calculating your tuition fees, following the same credit scheme. Below, we outline the possible remedial subjects and the credits assigned to each one.
Remedial subjects: University Communication Skills (6 credits), Basic Mathematics (6 credits), University Development Program (6 credits), Personal Development Program (3 credits).
