Anáhuac Cancun University awarded the best grade averages of the January - May 2022 semester, recognizing the most outstanding students of the different bachelor's degrees of this international campus.
These awards were presented over three days, the first day it was time for the students with the best grades of the degree programs in Architecture, Communication, Entertainment Business Management, Law, Sports Management, Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Multimedia Design, Entertainment Business Management, Languages and Cultural Management and International Relations; On the second day, awards were presented to students from the following undergraduate programs: Business Administration and Management, Strategic Business Management, Finance and Public Accounting, Financial Management, Strategic Marketing, International Business, Environmental Engineering, Information Technology and Digital Business Engineering, Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering for Management, International Hotel Management, Gastronomy and International Tourism; On the third day, the awards were given to the Biotechnology, Medical Surgeon, Medicine & Surgery, Medical Surgeon Dentist, Nutrition, Psychology, Psycho Pedagogy and Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation bachelor's degree programs.
The three events were led at the table of honor by F. Jesús Quirce Andrés L.C., President of the Anáhuac Cancun University; Tomasz Bogdanski, Academic Vicepresident; Jorge Juan Garcia Sanchez, Vicepresident of Finance and Administration; Mr. Jorge Alberto Alarcon Alfaro, Director of Integral Formation; and the directors of the different schools and faculties to which the recognized students belong; in addition, three guests of honor were present: Ms. Alejandra Arroyo Guzman, a graduate of the 2019 generation of the Bachelor's Degree in Communication; Mr. Jonathan Brunner Eissenvenn, graduate of the 2020 generation of the Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Management, and Ms. Guadalupe Abigail Azueta Cervantes, graduate of the first generation of the Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, in 2006, all of them outstanding students in their academic life.
F. Jesus Quirce Andres L.C. asked the honorees to continue preparing at the highest level and with outstanding performance. Still, without forgetting their integral education, he asked them to evaluate if they are giving the best of themselves to take advantage of the five dimensions of integral formation that Anahuac Cancun offers: professional, intellectual, human, social, and spiritual, paying particular interest in the last two, because spiritual growth, as a fundamental pillar of their formation, is necessary to be a professional of more significant impact and greater transcendence.
Guests of honor and outstanding students were also part of the speakers at these evenings. Among these speeches was that of Claudia Sofia Pimentel, a student with the Bachelor's Degree in Medicine & Surgery, who shared with the attendees what it means to be a high-performance student: always to have projects and passion for life, to question oneself about the future, to have perseverance, to have power for the future, to have a strong sense of purpose and to be able to make a difference.
That is how Anáhuac Cancun University recognizes the efforts of its students to continue encouraging them to give their best in developing their abilities, contributing to their integral formation as true leaders of positive action.
