As an act of genuine Christian faith, students, teachers, and administrative staff of Anáhuac Cancun University celebrated the Holy Mass at the beginning of the semester in the University Church of Santa María de Guadalupe, located on campus. This Eucharistic Celebration aims to entrust to God the work of the Anáhuac community during the semester.

The mass was presided by Fr. Jesús Quirce Andrés L.C., President of Anáhuac Cancun University. The ceremony was attended by University authorities such as the Academic Vice President of Academica, Mr. Tomasz Bogdański, directors and heads of the various schools, and above all, students from different parts of the world studying various programs at this institution.

The mass was a conscious and voluntary offering by the University community as an act of praise and thanksgiving for returning to the University campus after two difficult pandemic years.

Fr. Jesús Quirce Andrés L.C., President of Anáhuac Cancún University, said he was happy for the significant presence of all the attendees at the house of the Virgin Mary. In addition, the rector encouraged those present to correspond to God with a continued and serious effort in their responsibilities.

He also urged them to thank God for the health he gave us to get rid of the pandemic that has not yet ended, to thank their respective families and the sustenance in their homes. Finally, to thank the teachers who continued with their training and used all possible resources to continue with the classes at the highest level.

Finally, he also thanked the volunteers, students, alumni, administrative staff, and families of Cancun. Whose donations made possible the construction of the University Church of "Santa María de Guadalupe". A precinct with more than 42 virgins from all latitudes, made in byzantine mosaics, among which are: Our Lady of Mercy of the Dominican Republic; Our Lady of Lujan, patroness of Argentina and St. Catherine of Siena, mother of the Italians.

Here is how Anáhuac Cancun University provides tools to young people to continue building their faith. A fundamental pillar to "overcome evil with good" and be the leaders of positive action that the world will need in the coming years.
