Center for Out of Town Student Support (CAF)

The Center for Out-of-Town Student Support (CAF) at Anáhuac Cancun assists both national and international students who come from other cities or countries, helping them adapt to university life.

Among its main responsibilities are providing guidance and support in finding accommodation, as well as offering ongoing assistance to ensure that international students enjoy a successful academic and personal experience during their stay in Cancún. 🌎

Buddy Program

The Buddy Program is a social service program of the Anáhuac Cancun University that aims to support and facilitate the integration of international students during their stay. Each visiting student is paired with a local student, who provides support in their academic, cultural, and social adaptation.

Through this program, students find a close reference who guides them on their arrival, shares university life with them and helps them discover the cultural richness of Cancun and Mexico.

The Buddy Program not only seeks to offer practical accompaniment, but also to promote cultural exchange, the creation of bonds of friendship and an enriching international experience for all participants.

FAQS

I am a student from a university that is not a member of Anáhuac Cancun, can I still participate in the International Exchange Program?

No. If you are enrolled in a university that does not collaborate with Anahuac Cancun, you cannot participate in the exchange program. The university must be a partner or belong to a common consortium such as CONAHEC or ODUCAL.

I am a student of one of Anáhuac Cancun's partner universities. How can I apply to Anáhuac Cancun?

You should contact the office at your university that manages the program's nomination process to find out how it selects nominees. Typically, the International Office, the Office of International Affairs, or the Office of International Exchange can assist you.

Do I need a visa to complete my exchange program?

Normally, students are allowed to stay in the country with their FMT-Tourist Migratory Form (they receive it on the plane before landing in Mexican territory) for 180 days after entering the country.

If necessary, depending on the student's nationality, a student visa must be obtained.
